Pass-Ready Promise

Do the preparation we recommend with your 30-Day Pass. If you still do not pass your first official Canadian citizenship test, we will refund what you paid for the pass.

This is a refund promise. It is not a guarantee that you will pass, and it does not make any statement about how you will do on the official test.

Who is covered (all of these must be true)

1. You bought the 30-Day Pass ($9.99, one-time) directly from Discover Canada Prep, on your own account. The Monthly plan, free access and passes bought before the date above are not covered.
2. During that 30-day pass period you completed at least 5 full-length practice exams (the 20-question exams, not topic drills) in your account. “Completed” means you finished and submitted the exam.
3. You scored 15 out of 20 (75%) or higher on each of your last 3 completed full exams before your official test.
4. Your first official test attempt took place after you bought the pass and no later than 30 days after your pass ended.
5. Your result for that first official attempt was “not passed.” Missing, cancelling or rescheduling a test, technical problems, and being exempt from the test do not count as a failed attempt.
6. You have not already received a refund under this promise, and this is the only account claiming it. One refund per person and per pass.
7. You send your claim within 30 days after the date of your official test.

We check items 1 to 3 against our own records. You do not need to prove them.

What you need to send us

Email support@discovercanadaprep.ca with the subject “Pass-Ready Promise claim”, from the email address on your account, with:

• The email address of your Discover Canada Prep account.
• The date of your official test.
• A screenshot, photo or copy of the official result notice from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that shows your name, the test date and that you did not pass. You may cover anything else on it, such as file or application numbers.

We will never ask for your IRCC login, passwords or payment card details. If something is unclear we may ask you one follow-up question.

What happens next

• We reply within 10 business days of receiving a complete claim to tell you whether it is approved. If we decline it, we tell you which condition was not met.
• If approved, we refund the full amount you paid for that 30-Day Pass, including any taxes charged, to the original payment method. Your bank or card issuer may take several more business days to show it.
• After a refund, any remaining time on that 30-Day Pass ends.

The 30-Day Pass is not a subscription

The 30-Day Pass is one payment for 30 days of access. It does not renew, we do not store a card for it to renew, and there is nothing to cancel. The Monthly plan is different: it is a subscription that renews each month until you cancel, you can cancel at any time from your dashboard, and it is not covered by this promise.

Other things to know

• A claim that includes false, edited or misleading documents or information will be refused, and we may close the account.
• Discover Canada Prep is an independent study tool. We are not affiliated with the Government of Canada or IRCC and we do not control the official test or its results.
• We may change or end this promise for future purchases. The version in effect on the day you buy your pass applies to that pass.
• The documents you send are used only to assess your claim and are deleted within 90 days after we decide it. See our Privacy Policy.
• This promise is in addition to your legal rights as a consumer. It does not limit them.
• Our Terms of Service also apply.
